For residents this lands as higher costs straight out of their own pockets.
This is how shared electricity with IMD can cut your costs
Traditionally, every apartment in a housing association has its own electricity contract and its own meter from the grid company. That means every resident pays fixed grid fees, usually between 1,500 and 3,000 kr per year.
With shared electricity and IMD the association takes out a single electricity subscription for the whole property. This lowers the fixed costs, because only one subscription is needed instead of one per apartment. 2. Individual sub-meters are installed in each apartment. These measure exactly how much electricity each household uses. 3. Residents are billed individually based on their actual electricity consumption.
Shared electricity with IMD saves 1,500 to 3,000 kronor per apartment per year.
Fast payback:
The investment in IMD Electricity normally has a payback time of just 1–3 years. After that, the saving is pure profit for the members of the housing association.
