Engine heaters for housing associations and property owners
Are the engine heaters due for replacement? Then your timing is perfect.
Swap your old engine heaters for combi chargers that both warm the engine and charge the electric car. Right now the Ladda bilen grant can cover up to half the cost. The charging function comes with it, for 89 kr per point per month and with no investment at all.
Replace once, get charging included.
When the posts are being replaced anyway, a combi charger that both warms the engine and charges the electric car costs about the same. Compare the two routes.
- Engine heater only, no EV charging
- No load balancing and no metering
- Has to be redone when the electric car arrives
Guide prices. A plain post swap is a one-off cost, the combi charger a service at 89 kr per point per month. The actual cost depends on the conditions in the property.
Built to replace your engine heaters.
The combi charger provides both an engine heater socket and a full charging function in the same unit. It replaces your existing posts and often reuses the cabling already in place.
Replaces your posts
Built to replace older engine heaters, for example from ABB and GARO.
Reuses the cabling
The existing cabling can often be used, which means digging can usually be avoided.
Made in Sweden
Developed and manufactured in Sweden and built for the Nordic climate.
More and more people drive electric, and the scheme is open now.
Plug-in cars are now the majority of all new cars sold, so sooner or later someone in the building will want to charge at home. Making the swap while the grant is still available is both cheaper and more future-proof.

How the system works.
Five steps from the first survey to day-to-day operation. Residents charge through the app, and you do not have to administer the billing.
Needs and feasibility survey
We go through the existing posts, the cabling and the electrical panel. The result is a quote specific to your property, free of charge.
We help you apply for the grant
If you choose combi chargers we help you apply for the Ladda bilen grant from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. The scheme is temporary, so apply while it is open.
Post replacement
The insert and the enclosure are swapped for a modern combi charger. The existing cabling is reused where possible, so digging can usually be avoided.
Commissioning and app connection
Residents get an app for controlling engine heating and charging, and you get a portal with an overview of the property. The meter is connected to the individual metering platform.
Day-to-day operation
Each user's consumption is billed automatically on the monthly invoice. Support, warranty and updates are included, and after eight years the hardware is yours.
Integrates with Sweden's major financial property managers
With Nordic Propeye the engine heater is only the beginning.
The same combi charger is ready to charge an electric car, and the same platform can tie together everything else that uses or stores energy: charging, electricity, water and heating, but also solar panels, batteries and heat pumps.
Cars charging creates peaks in demand. If that charging is controlled together with everything else, the peaks can be shaved, which keeps the demand charge down for the whole property.
Meter one part, save a little. Control the whole property, save much more.
Peak demand over 24 hours

Frequently asked questions
Will the combi charger fit our existing posts?
The combi charger is built to replace older engine heaters, for example from ABB and GARO. The existing cabling can often be reused, so in most cases digging can be avoided.
Do we have to charge an electric car for it to pay off?
No. You can use engine heater mode alone for 89 kr per point per month and switch the charging function on only when a resident needs it.
How does the grant work?
The Ladda bilen grant can cover up to 50 percent of the cost of combi chargers, but not of plain engine heaters. We help you apply. The scheme is temporary and may change or run out.
What happens after eight years?
After the fixed-price period, ownership passes to you. You own the hardware and can carry on using it with no monthly fee.
