Nordic Propeye and Solfolket have entered into a strategic partnership that provides property owners with internal electrical grids—such as farms, industrial properties, and housing cooperatives—with new opportunities to implement smart solutions for submetering and electricity billing. The partnership enables property owners to offer their tenants more efficient energy management and full control over energy consumption.
With the joint solution, property owners can easily invoice their tenants based on their actual electricity consumption, creating transparency and simplifying the process. The property owner also gains the opportunity to charge for the administration of the local electricity network.
Smart control of electricity consumption based on hourly prices reduces total costs
The new solution allows both property owners and tenants to optimize electricity consumption according to hourly prices. They can easily connect smart devices such as electric cars, heat pumps, and inverters that are controlled based on current hourly rates. This leads to additional cost savings and future-proofs the property with full flexibility.
